Role: Thematic Leaders in the following areas:
Electronics (1 Position)Power Systems (1 Position)Instrumentation and Control (1 Position) Must have:
An earned PhD degree in the relevant Thematic area from an Accredited UniversityAt least five years of university teaching experience as a Senior LecturerMust have at least 4 publications in credible and peer reviewed journalsSuccessful supervision of at least 3 post graduate students to completionEvidence of attracting research funds and grants to support research initiatives or scholarly projects will be an added advantageA Professional Engineer in Good Standing with the Engineers Board of Kenya. Duties and responsibilities:
As an adjunct faculty you will be invited when need arises to:
Participate in: a) Teaching b) Research c) Consultancy d) Community Outreach Programmes.Facilitate student learning using a variety of instructional strategies such as online platform.Participate in review of academic Programmes.Advise on teaching and research requirements.Focusing and support student learning outcomes by:Promoting cooperative learning, experiential learning and critical thinking.Maintaining academic integrity.Making reasonable provisions to accommodate student individual differences.Taking into account the needs and abilities of students.Co-supervise postgraduate students and maintain high level of research.Participate in application of grants for collaborative research.
