Description
THE DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING (ECE) AT VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor of the Practice of Electrical and Computer Engineering position with target start dates of Fall 2025.

Primary responsibilities are to develop and teach classes in the Applied AI curriculum.

Teach online classes, contribute the undergraduate ECE curriculum, and assist with programmatic certification.

This is a term appointment, eligible for renewal, contingent on performance.

We are committed to teaching and research excellence and have fully integrated professors of the practice and lecturers into ECE faculty operations.

Qualifications
Ideal qualifications include a PH.D. degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.

Prior teaching experience in these programs would be a plus.
