Role Overview
The Lead Data Analyst will play a dual role of managing the company's data systems to support decision-making while also developing high-quality proposals, concept notes, and reports for fundraising and partnership opportunities.
This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent writing abilities, and the ability to convey complex information in clear and compelling language.
Key Responsibilities
•Creating and implementing data strategies that align with the company's goals, particularly in optimising the charging infrastructure for electric vehicles (EVs).
•Overseeing the collection, storage and management of data from various sources such as charging stations, user behaviour and operational performance.
•Develop and manage data tracking systems, dashboards, and reports to support strategic planning and performance monitoring.
•Ensure compliance with data protection and confidentiality standards.
•Support the preparation of data-driven insights for management decision-making.
•Research funding opportunities and partnership prospects in the energy, climate, and mobility sectors.
•Use data to prepare proposals and applications for grants from government bodies, NGOs, and other funding sources, emphasising the alignment of the startup's goals with the funding and the company's objectives.
•Draft, edit, and finalise funding proposals, concept notes, and business pitches in line with donor or partner requirements.
•
Collaborate with technical and operations teams to compile accurate data, case studies, and impact metrics for proposals.
•Developing reports and visualisations to communicate findings to stakeholders, including executive leadership, technical teams and external partners.
• Analysing large datasets to identify trends, patterns and insights that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's charging network.
•Providing guidance and mentorship to junior and other team members, fostering a data-centric culture within the company.
•Any other duty assigned to you.
Qualifications & Experience
•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Communication, Project Management, or related field.
•2–3 years of professional experience in data management, proposal & report writing, or a combined role for donors, investors, or corporate partners (preferably in the energy, mobility, or development sector).
•Strong skills in data analysis tools (Excel, statistical analysis or automation, visualisation & dashboarding, survey & data collection).
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
•Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
