Position: Regional Manager – Sales and Technical
Job Location: Kenya, Nairobi
Role Involves :
Mainly Direct Corporate Sales in Kenya and oversee Dealers distribution for different Brands of Generators business
Reporting to- Director
Job Purpose:
Interpret and translate client requirements into a solution that can be configured from a standard set of offerings.
Operate as a single point of contact or as part of a team (on large deals with multiple Solutions) accountable from Stage 1 to deal closure
Key Responsibilities:
Market knowledge for Diesel, Gas, Thermal and Solar based power plants.
Prepare the sales strategy for Kenya market
Create the strong enquiry base for respective products/ services
Lead and create a team of effective sales personnel
Analyze the market requirements, competitor’s plans/ strategies and prepare the business Plans
Preparing presentations, proposals etc.
as per specific customer’s requirement
Should be able to prepare tenders with the help of supporting staff and take lead to win the same
Making close relationship with consultants, contractors, customers and all working staff
Aware of Quality Assurance plans, safety requirements and environmental requirements
Understand and translate buyer requirements into a standard solution, proposal and cost estimate
Preparing the schedules, work plan, budgeting and MIS reports
Understand and clearly define the input required to create cost estimates
Collaborating as a key member of the sales team to represent the solution offering to the client buyer and other internal groups.
Ensure up-to-date knowledge of products and services offered.

Qualifications:
Diploma Engineer, BSC, B-Tech will be preferred.
At least 5 - 15 years of work experience in a similar capacity, with high success rate
Ready to travel.
Must have experience in selling the D.G. sets/ Gas sets/ Solar Power plants and providing turnkey solutions
Relevant working experience: Minimum 3 years in a reputable company in generators.

Strong team spirit, flexible but persistent and result-oriented
Technical aptitude to complete service and repairs in a timely manner
The ability to patiently coach junior team members.
Resourcefulness to build technical aptitude.
Ability to absorb constructive criticism and work well under pressure
Remuneration Structure :
Total Gross Salary in USD in Salary Account
Family Status with House Rent as per Grade provided by company
Utilities - Electricity, Gas and Food on own.
Car with Fuel as per grade provided ( Driver provided for 2 weeks till Licence received )
Medical Insurance
Once a Year Tickets to India to & fro with family.
WP, Visa provided by company
