Senior Administrative Assistant
Minimum Qualification and Experience
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have: –
Must have cumulative work experience of six years, three of which should be as a Senior Administrative Assistant II or in a comparable position;Bachelor’s degree from a recognized and accredited institution;Those with Master’s degree will have an added advantage;Registered with relevant professional body (where applicable);Proficiency in computer applications; andDemonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results. Duties and Responsibilities at this level will entail: –
Providing administrative support services in the university;implementing and evaluating policies and strategies;Organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments;Providing secretariat services during meetings;Implementing administrative functions;Performing administrative operational duties in specific area of assignment;Preparing and analyzing reports;Coordination of administrative activities;Participating in quality audits; and,Supervising assigned staff.
