Field Service Engineer – Rotary
We are looking for a talented Field Service Engineer to join our Service team and work with Sidel high-speed Rotary Blowing, Filling, and Labeling machines.
This role involves traveling across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific, supporting our global clients with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced equipment.
Your Mission
Installation, Qualification & Testing and evaluate equipment performance at customer plant, based on technical, contractual and safety specifications.Operate on Mechanical systems, HMI for regular activities and troubleshooting as per Standard Operating Procedures.Execute electrical work (e.g., cable wiring)Properly handle, check, and transfer equipment non-conformities.Prepare Job Progress Chart and technical reports in reference to carried-out activities.Ensure ultimate internal and external customer satisfaction.Perform activities in line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Sidel coordination plan and customer rules.Report after sales opportunities detected on Customer site.Coach junior colleagues on the on-site behavior, technical activities, troubleshooting and reporting deliverables.Report to the Installation Site Manager for team site activities. Level of Education and Language:
Graduate of Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering / Electromechanical Engineering or equivalent.English fluent, written and spoken. Level of Experience and Skills:
Min 5 years’ experience in field service.Experiences in high speed rotary filling machine.Experiences in different application e.g., CSD (Carbonated), HR (Hot Filling), PH (Preferential heating), Aseptic, plasma coating technology PET, and others is an advantage. Education and Language
Graduate of Mechatronics Engineering / Electromechanical Engineering or equivalentEnglish fluent, written and spoken. Level of Experience
Min 5 years’ experience in field service activities especially in Rotary labelling machine e.g. Hot melt, Cold glue, PSL.Experience in the beverage PET / CAN / GLASS industry.Consolidated technical background on Electronics and Mechanicals.Knowledge of Sidel machinery is a PLUS including Blowing / FillingKnowledgeable with the PLC program (Siemens / B&R / ELAU).Able to travel (up to 90% in international environment) Product Trainer(W/M/D)
Your main tasks will include:
Deliver product technical training sessions in line with the internal and external customer requirementsMonitor and ensure continuous improvement of the training sessions’ qualityDesign Technical Training material and documentation accordingly to Customers and internal employees training demandDefine length and content of TTC Training Courses to maximize quality and effectiveness of learning solutionsCreate, design and manage training modules to support FSE Training PathCreate and design multimedia objects to be included in training materialsSupport training Innovations by investigating and piloting innovative training methods and solutionsSupport product training quotation in building the Training offers with guidelines about course length and contentMake travel arrangements in cooperation with the reference Training AssistantMentor junior trainersMake travel arrangements in cooperation with the reference Training Assistant Your Profile
Technical diploma with a specialisation in industrial automation engineeringFluent in English – Able to travel worlwide.Good understanding of learning solutions and willing to learn Sidel equipmentTechnical subject matter expertise on Technical Training solution areaKnowledge of training content design tools, pedagogy and Soft WarePrevious experience as a trainer and/or Sidel equipment is a plus Account Director East Africa

Level of Education and Language

Offer Preparation:
Understand customer requests and translate his needs.Coordinate with all involved product divisions to provide a full complete solution answering customer needsSupport Services sales team in sales, proposals, and presentations as neededPropose additional Services Products when required to secure project success as well as maximizing customer satisfaction Projects Execution:
