Territory Sales Representative(Animal Feeds)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Territory Sales Representative to grow our market presence and build strong relationships within the livestock sector.
This role is ideal for a passionate sales professional with a background in animal science or agribusiness, and a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets within the assigned territoryRecruit and manage a network of distributors, dealers, and farmersOffer product training and technical support to customers to drive usage and satisfactionBuild and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders in the livestock industryCoordinate the collection of both primary and secondary sales ordersTrack and monitor secondary sales to optimize product availability and performanceCollect and report market intelligence, including competitor activities and customer insightsMonitor the performance of feeds through farmer feedback and field trialsCollaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns and product activationsMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agribusiness, BCom (Marketing), or a related fieldMinimum of 3 years’ experience in animal feed sales or a closely related industryStrong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsSelf-motivated with a sense of urgency and ability to work with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and presentation skillsProficiency in MS Office and CRM systems is an added advantageFamiliarity with the local livestock market and previous work experience in the target region is preferred
