Territory Trainer
Job Summary
The Territory Trainer is responsible for executing frontline training programs in their assigned territory, ensuring the consistent development of sales capabilities and customer engagement excellence across both the Sales & Distribution and High Value Business teams.
Under the functional direction of the Manager, Sales Training & Channel Management, and administrative oversight of the Territory Manager, the Territory Trainer ensures training plans are effectively rolled out, participation is tracked, and performance is monitored to support field team effectiveness and commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery Execution
Conduct face-to-face and on-the-ground training sessions for Field Sales Agents, Retail Shop Teams, and High Value Business Representatives.Implement training modules provided by the Sales Training Manager and tailor them to territory-specific needs.Monitor participation and knowledge retention through regular quizzes, role plays, and post-training evaluations.Support onboarding programs for new hires and facilitate refresher training.Act as the boots-on-the-ground execution arm for all national sales capability building initiatives. Performance Support Coaching
Provide regular coaching and reinforcement in-market to address skill gaps and behavioral development.Work closely with Territory Managers to align training with performance issues and territory goals.Collect and report insights from the field to improve training content and delivery methods. Collaboration Communication
Serve as a link between the Territory Manager and Sales Training Manager, ensuring feedback flows both ways.Support execution of territory performance reviews by contributing training-related insights.Coordinate with team leads in Sales & Distribution and High Value to align training to commercial priorities. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field.1-3 Years of experience.
