Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for developing social media content, graphics, and data for regular posting on UN-Habitat social media accounts, ensuring the strategic growth of the UNHabitat’s brand and raise awareness on sustainable urban development and human settlements topics.Develop visuals and content for the UN-Habitat Assembly 2.2 in the run up to the event and TOR: 25-United Nations Human Settlements Programme--Consultant Page 2 of 3 during the event and for the HLPF on SDG11.Develop data cards and materials to be posted with the Annual Report Develop and implement engaging social content for Urban October – including videos, social media posts, data cards and materials.Develop social media templates and test content promoting Scroll of Honor, Shanghai Manual awards (headlines, content types, calls to action) monitoring and reporting for ongoing events and outreach campaigns. Qualifications/special skills
A first-level university degree in communications, marketing and international affairs or related field is requiredA minimum of five years of progressively responsible work experience in social media is required.Experience in event promotion (preferably in the United Nations and/or a development agency) is desirable
